Time to update facility a bit.
Wonderful location/scenery, ability to get food/drinks right at the Inn, when we wanted.....
It was quite dated...it was apparent they were working on it, though, which was good.
Lovely setting and facilities. The Inn was very nice but our room did not have a view and was pretty basic. My sister had a room with a view which she said was quite nice. She paid a lot less with aarp discount for a better room. There was nowhere on the online reservation form to request the senior discount. I did put a note on the reservation form regarding senior discount but received no reply. I guess I will have to call next time to be more specific. All over it was a very nice place and I would stay there again.
ıt is real family hotel and the view is perfect...
on the lobby breakfast area is not good for the eating maybe they will arrange another place for the breakfast or they will cancel the breakfast and price will down...best regards
The room was small and awful with an old, dirty bathroom in desperate need of renovation. We were supposed to. Stay 3 nights but left after the first night. We stayed with family instead because we couldn't imagine spending another night there. Not recommended!
View of the Hudson River and location. It was ok for an overnight stay but not for an extended period of time.
There was no coffee pot in the room. Room was small with no chair.
Centrally located, not too far away from places like New York City, Woodbury Common, historical sites , Middletown, quaint townships and villages, The view is lovely, and Bear Mountain Parkway is beautiful. The best pizza ever is in Peekskill (Onoforio Pizzeria). The Inn is perfect for family getaways.
The bed was comfortable and the front desk staff was competent and helpful.
The motel was much lower budget in feel than I was expecting, the room was really low quality and the bathroom was gross, the light over the sink in the bathroom was broken, I blew a fuse when I used the blow-dryer which also was connected to the heater in the room so it was freezing when we returned that evening. It felt overall like a truck-stop. At night, it was really loud, the people staying in the room below us kept slamming the door and were up until 2:30 in the morning. The motel was fairly empty so it seems as if they could have assigned rooms farther apart to prevent this kind of noise.
